8 Google Webmaster Videos Every Webmaster Should Watch
If you go to one end of the spectrum you’d say you’re better off learning from someone other than Google but when you come to the right end of the spectrum who else is better than Google for teaching Webmasters the proper ethics?
No-one really and because of this need to listen to Google I’ve went out and chosen the best 8 webmaster videos made by Google that every webmaster should watch or already have watched. A couple of them are site review sessions and have been included because what better way to learn than to see Google criticize an already existing site. We’ll start off with Google’s most reason I/O site review session hosted by Matt Cutts.

Why is Google still taking notice of DMOZ?
Dmoz is a supposedly reputable website directory that Google are said to pay a lot of attention to sites that get listed in DMOZ. In this video you’ll learn how to get into DMOZ and you’ll notice there is no refusing that Google do pay attention to them.

Google’s interests for what ranks is quite simple and this video gives
you a good visual insight into what it all means and how it all works.
Should I use underscores or hyphens in URLs?
The basics is that hyphens are treated as a separator so if you have keyword-keyword it is treated as 2 different separated words whereas keyword_keyword is treated as two words joined together.
Are CSS-based layouts better than tables for SEO?
The answer is? It doesn’t really matter either are good to go.

Is there any such thing as building too many links?
As long as you’re building links ethically Google don’t mind but also a recommendation to try get links via link bait i.e. write content people want to link to.

Time to ensure your site is mobile compatible. Especially considering traffic is predicted to be about 40% mobile by the year 2014.
